CDL A Prep: Tests & Pre-Trip

Effective October 25, 2026

Your study progress is stored on your device. The app also uses Google AdMob advertising, which can process device, advertising, and diagnostic information. No account is needed to study.

1. Who provides the app

CDL A Prep: Tests & Pre-Trip is provided by Tymur Chmeruk (the “publisher,” “we,” or “us”). This policy covers the iOS app and this privacy website.

For privacy questions or requests, contact cougars_islands_00@icloud.com.

2. Study information kept on your device

The app saves information in its local storage so you can continue practicing and review your progress:

  • Answer totals and accuracy, questions encountered, current mistakes, saved questions, and completed study-set totals.
  • Pre-trip cards reviewed and cards you mark as known.
  • Completed yard-run totals, maneuvers practiced, and the most recent run’s time, pull-ups, boundary contacts, and completion date.
  • Your selected question language.

We do not operate an app account or a server that receives these study records. The app does not upload them to our servers or pass them to the advertising SDK. Study content is available offline; advertising and privacy-message services require a network connection. An unavailable advertisement does not prevent practice.

The study features do not request your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location. Spoken inspection prompts use iOS text-to-speech; the app does not record your voice.

3. Advertising and Google’s services

The app uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and interstitial advertisements. According to Google’s SDK disclosures, the service may process:

  • IP addresses, which can indicate an approximate location.
  • Device or app identifiers, subject to iOS permissions and settings.
  • Ads displayed and interactions such as ad taps or video views.
  • Crash reports, diagnostic information, and performance data such as launch times.

Google uses advertising information to serve and measure ads, support analytics, improve its services, and protect against fraud and abuse. Depending on applicable choices and settings, information may also be used to personalize advertising. Google and other parties involved in delivering ads may process information under their own policies.

The current app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. Advertising services can still process other permitted information; the absence of that permission prompt is not a promise that no advertising data is collected.

Read Google’s Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures, how Google uses information from partner apps, and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising privacy choices

The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to check whether a privacy message is required and to present applicable choices. Ad requests are allowed only when that platform reports that ads can be requested. The choices shown depend on your region and the applicable advertising messages.

When an Advertising privacy choices button appears in the app, use it to revisit the available choices. Changing advertising choices does not erase your study progress. You can also review Google’s ad settings and Google’s advertising privacy information. Those controls do not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing.

5. Retention and deleting study progress

Your study records do not expire automatically. To erase them on your device:

  1. Open the Questions tab and tap the chart icon for Your progress.
  2. Choose Reset local study progress.
  3. Confirm Reset progress.

This clears the study records listed above, including saved questions and the latest yard result. It does not reset your language selection, change advertising consent, or delete information already processed by Google. We cannot access or erase your on-device study records remotely.

Your device’s backup settings may allow Apple to include app data in a device backup. The app has no separate publisher-operated cloud sync. See Apple’s explanation of iCloud Backup for backup controls. Google’s retention and deletion practices are described in its privacy policy and account controls; the publisher does not set a separate retention period for Google’s records.

6. If you contact us

If you send a privacy or support message, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message. We use it to respond and handle your request, and keep it only as needed for that purpose and any applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

7. This website and external links

This page contains no analytics scripts, advertising, embedded third-party content, forms, or cookies set by the page itself. The hosting service may process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the website.

Following an external link opens a service covered by that service’s own privacy policy. Google may process information in countries outside your country, as described in its privacy policy.

8. Children

This app is intended for people preparing for a commercial driver’s license and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or a support message, contact the publisher so the concern can be addressed.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. You can contact the publisher with questions about this policy or your privacy choices.
